Skye Leon is the Future Student Engagement Officer at AFTRS, where she works closely with prospective students, schools and communities to help the next generation of screen and audio storytellers explore study opportunities at the School. An AFTRS alum, Skye is a Yangkaal and Worimi Aboriginal woman with British and Chinese ancestry who brings experience across student engagement, administration, customer service and screen production.
Drawing on her own journey through AFTRS, she is passionate about creating welcoming, inclusive and culturally safe experiences, and is committed to helping aspiring creatives navigate their path into the industry. She is also a screenwriter, crafting Australian stories with humour, heart and hope. Skye is known for her warm, professional approach and enjoys building strong connections with students, stakeholders and communities.
