The five-day AFTRS Real Filmmaking Workshop is the number one filmmaking workshop for young people in Australia. It is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a group of creative young people for a ‘real filmmaking experience’.
You will work with a director, professional actors and AFTRS crew in state-of-the-art studios using professional equipment. You’ll also write your own script, learn how to direct actors and experience the technical elements of filmmaking including camera, lighting, sound and editing skills - all in one week! Your group’s vision will be realised with a screening of your short film in the AFTRS theatre for parents and friends, with students receiving a copy of their film.
