Vedrana Music is an Australian director who was born in Sarajevo and raised in Sydney. Her first short film, A Boy Called Su, has screened at over twenty festivals worldwide and was awarded Best Coming of Age at Hollyshorts. Her documentary Handout won Best Australian Short at Antenna Film Festival in 2018. This year, Vedrana directed the Storytellers Wanted ad for AFTRS, which attracted over half a million views online. She was mentored by esteemed Australian director Gillian Armstrong. Vedrana has a commitment to stories that encourage empathy and inspire social change.

Vedrana is also a Screen Production Lecturer and has taught at UNSW, JMC, AIT and AFTRS. She holds a Bachelor in International Studies, a Masters in Media Arts & Production and has completed graduate courses in Directing and Cinematography at the Australian Film Television and Radio School.
