Rachelle Ferrar was appointed Head of Human Resources at AFTRS in May 2025. She is a senior HR executive with more than 20 years of experience shaping people and culture across the creative industries, including leadership roles as Head of Human Resources at DNEG and Head of People, Performance, and Culture APAC at Deluxe Entertainment.
Rachelle is recognised for her innovative, human-centric approach, enhancing psychological safety, fostering resilience, and strengthening collaboration to build high-performing organisations. Her expertise spans strategy development, culture creation, diversity and inclusion, transformation and change, leadership capability, employee experience, coaching, and talent development.
She holds a Bachelor of Human Resource Management and has undertaken additional studies in Neuroscience. Having spent the majority of her career in creative organisations, Rachelle also serves on the board of Hey Mate, supporting mental health and wellbeing in the creative industry.
