You will learn:

  • Production design background knowledge and theory

  • Communication skills: drafting, perspective drawing, and 3D modelling

  • How to configure, dress, prop & shoot a set in a studio with a Director of Photography

  • How to work with costumes, sets, props, dressing and visual effects

  • How to collaborate with art departments and film crews to realise designs

  • The production design process, from script to filmed scene

The course is liberally illustrated with examples from local and international films.
