If you’re interested in learning about creating special effects make-up for film and TV – or even just for your own Halloween fun – learn some of the tricks of the trade from a movie make-up specialist in this two-day workshop.

The aim of this course is to give you exposure to the art of make-up and to have some fun being creative.

Understand the importance

Understand the importance of make-up in the movies.

Apply make-up

Apply make-up for maximum dramatic effect. Everything from a slight bruise, a severed finger and a bullet wound will be demonstrated.

Design your own

Design your own make-up effect by experimenting with the materials from a “blood and guts” make-up kit!

Important allergy information

In the course we will be using the below products and wanted to let you know in case your child has any allergies: Vaseline (petroleum based product), Putty, Latex, Talcum Powder, Cotton Wool and Micropore tape. We will also be using craft paints which are considered allergy free, containing materials safe to use.
