Kerrod Meredith-Creed is a proud Pitta Pitta, Kalkadoon, Darumbal, Gunggarri, Bidjara and Bindal storyteller working across screen, audio and stage. A graduate of the AFTRS Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production, he is now Community Training Officer at AFTRS, supporting the design and delivery of First Nations programs that create pathways for storytellers into the screen, audio and stage industries.
Previously working as the Future Student Engagement Officer, Kerrod brings a deep understanding of AFTRS, the industry and community. This experience strengthens his ability to connect with emerging creatives and guide them towards opportunities in the creative arts.
Kerrod’s work amplifies First Nations voices and stories, weaving cultural identity with contemporary practice. He is committed to building opportunities for emerging creatives from remote, regional and urban communities. He is passionate about ensuring First Nations perspectives are embedded in the future of Australian storytelling.
