Susan Danta is the Head of Research at AFTRS, driving the development and delivery of AFTRS research programs. She has ten years of academic experience and has published and presented research on animation and cultural memory. She has fifteen years of experience as an award-winning animator and is a member of the Australian Director’s Guild. Susan has exhibited her work at the National Portrait Gallery (animated self-portrait exhibition); Australian Centre for the Moving Image (Australian Culture Now); The 4th Gwangju Biennale, South Korea (Seeing There – Diasporic Sites); and the Smithsonian Institute USA (Animated Shorts Down-Under – An Australian Retrospective).
