Lyn Norfor is the Director of Production & Facilities at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and responsible for all student productions and facilities. Previously she was Head of Producing and Production, AFTRS. Lyn was closely involved in the COVIDSafe Industry Taskforce responsible for developing the COVIDSafe Production Protocols for the screen industry at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.
Lyn is an experienced producer and co-founder of Emerald Productions. She has produced and executive produced a number of feature films that showcase bold new voices and talent including Undertow (writer/director Miranda Nation), Hot Mess (writer/director Lucy Coleman), Here Out West an anthology film that opened the Sydney Film Festival in 2021 (writers Nisrine Amine, Bina Bhattacharya, Matias Bolla, Claire Cao, Arkas das, Dee Drogan, Vonne Patiag and Tien Tran; directors Fadia Abboud, Lucy Gaffy, Julie Kalceff, Ana Kokinos, Leah Purcell).
