Graduation Ceremony 2025

The AFTRS Graduation Ceremony is a celebration of our student’s achievements, and the completion of their academic course requirements, for graduands, their family and friends.

Family and friends wishing to attend the Graduation Ceremony are able to purchase tickets at $50 per person, which includes light refreshments following the ceremony, in the Clancy Auditorium Foyer. Doors open at 2pm for a prompt 2.30pm start.

Graduands are provided a complimentary ticket to attend the ceremony and will receive communications from AFTRS about their expected arrival time.

The ceremony will be privately live-streamed to allow for graduands, families, friends and AFTRS staff to participate if they’re unable to attend in person.

John Clancy Auditorium is located at University of New South Wales, Kensington Campus.

How long is the ceremony?

The ceremony will run for approximately two hours, followed by light refreshments in the foyer.

How do I get to Sir John Clancy Auditorium?

Parking is limited at UNSW Kensington campus. We therefore encourage graduates and guests to take public transport. If travelling to UNSW via the light rail network, please use the L2 Randwick light rail line and disembark at the UNSW High Street stop. Multiple bus routes also service UNSW.

Where can I park?

All day metered parking is available on campus at the top level of Botany St carpark. Short-term meter parking is available at Gate 11 entry, Gate 8 entry, and Western Campus Carpark (near NIDA). Payment is required on arrival and can be made through Pay-by-Plate meter or via the CellOpark app.

Accessible Parking

via Gate 9, High Street. Please email events@aftrs.edu.au to arrange accessible parking. More mobility bays are available in the open carpark at Gate 11 on Botany Street.
