Anyone entering the TV industry now needs to be able to “do it all”. It’s essential to be able to use a camera competently and this five-day course will give you the confidence and skills to say “I can do that”. This is a five-day version of our popular TV Shooter/Producer course, and includes lighting tuition and more location practical.

What You Will Learn

In this intensive five-day you will learn essential TV production knowledge and skills including:

• Essential camera and sound recording skills
• Basics of lighting
• Pre-production skills for a Field Shooter/Producer
• Interviewing basics

Over the week you will apply your new camera and sound skills in a series of “real-life” shoots both on location and in studio.

Pre requisites: NONE - just a passion for developing your media career!

About the Course Tutor: Janos Jersch

Janos has been a Lighting Cameraman in the documentary and commercial production sector for 15 years with an extensive knowledge in all film and digital
formats. Due to his multiple language skills, he has vast experience filming overseas, producing, directing and filming projects in over 40 countries. He has also worked as a consultant for and taught on a regular basis at the National Film and Television School, Channel 4 and London Film Academy amongst others.
