STUDENT WINS QUEER SCREEN COMPLETION FUND

Congratulations to Thomas Wilson-White, who is the 2018 recipient of the annual Queer Screen Completion Fund. Thomas, who completed his Master of Arts Screen at AFTRS in 2017, was awarded the $10,000 cash prize to put towards his film, The Greenhouse. The fund was established to provide independent LGBTIQ filmmakers and storytellers with support to tell stories that reflect the uniqueness and diversity of LGBTIQ lives and the community through grants, awards, training and resources.

Thomas Wilson-White said, “We are beyond thrilled to have received the Queer Screen Completion Fund for our feature The Greenhouse. It will assist us with VFX, sound and music and will see the film reaching its final stages in what has been a long and sometimes grueling post-production journey. It’s incredible to know there is a community like Queer Screen in Australia and we are proud to be a part of it. Thank you!”

We are thrilled for Thomas and the whole The Greenhouse team and look forward to seeing the finished film on the big screen.
