Dr. Vaughan Dai Rees

Vaughan Rees has over forty years’ experience as an art and design educator, academic, author, editor and artist. His focus in education and publishing has been around issues involving Transformative Pedagogy in the Visual Domain which as curator and contributor resulted in an eight-book series with contributions from over 150 international artist and/designer educators.

Vaughan’s  research in both written and, artistic outcomes (drawing) explore Visual Autobiography as a methodology.  He has exhibited in the United States of America, Canada, Singapore, China, France and Australia.  For two decades he championed international education and created opportunities for the University of New South Wales students to experience study, residencies and internships across the world.
