Criminal History Disclosure

Disclosing previous criminal convictions does not preclude you from studying at AFTRS. This information is used to assist in assessing and managing any risk to other staff and students. Depending on your circumstances, you may be required to agree to additional conditions of enrolment established in consultation with you and any relevant support professionals.

Students are not required to disclose spent convictions as defined under Pt VIIC of the Crimes Act 1914 (Cth) and Part 3 of the Criminal Records Act 1991 (NSW).

If you are unsure about whether you need to disclose a conviction, or have questions about how this information will be used by the School you are encouraged to contact the Student Centre on (02) 9805 6444 or the Indigenous Unit on (02) 9805 6514.

The Australian Film Television and Radio School would like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners, the Bidjigal people and Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, on whose land we meet, work, study and teach. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from all nations of this land.
