Intro to Media Skills

Having basic media skills in your communication toolbox means you are prepared to respond appropriately in a world where “no comment” just doesn’t cut it. Delivered by Walkley Award-winning journalist, broadcaster and author Tracey Spicer AM, this 2-hour online workshop is an ideal entry point to understanding media, its opportunities and challenges. The workshop has a maximum of 15 participants.

Explore the different types of media, and what they expect from an interview.

Develop strategies for staying on message and on brand.

Increase your authenticity and impact.

“Easy to digest, appropriate content for time frame, well delivered, great amount of engagement required from participants without the engagement eroding the content or deliver.”

- Business Banking Executive

"Tracey was extremely personable and made everyone feel validated and at ease. The content was easy to understand and Tracey used real life examples that I knew to communicate points."
