Having basic media skills in your communication toolbox means you are prepared to respond appropriately in a world where “no comment” just doesn’t cut it. This 2-hour online workshop is an ideal entry point to understanding media, its opportunities and challenges. This workshop has a maximum of 15 participants.

This workshop is taught by Tracey Spicer AM and will equip you with the critical thinking to discern which interviews are worthwhile, and the tools to remain calm under pressure. You’ll learn about key messaging, bridging phrases, and crisis communications.

What you will need

This course is delivered 100% via Zoom. You will need access to a desktop or laptop computer with a camera, sound and good internet connection, as well as a quiet place to participate.
