Josh Butt is the Founder and Executive Producer of Ampel and Humerus and has over 22 years of production company, agency and business experience focusing on producing podcasts and branded comedy for TV. Josh has a knack for comedy and creativity, with significant expertise in Australian Media across TV, radio and comedy. A former community radio host, comedian and short film producer, Josh is a VCA postgrad (Producing) and Monash Business School grad. He’s produced dozens of commercials and podcasts, including the highly regarded Modern Babies, Criminal Domain and Beyond The Frame. In television, Josh has been the executive producer of many shows and most recently produced the comedy documentary series Waltzing Jimeoin on Network 10. Josh has worked across a number of media companies including at Fairfax, Triple M, ABC, RadicalMedia, The Storylab and most notably, as head of production at Mediacom, before setting up his own production companies.
Josh was a participant in the 2018 Observership Program, sits on the boards of CoCurious and Curious Works and teaches content production at AFTRS.
