With 16 years experience in unscripted film and television, Mel has worked across a range of genres: from documentary to factual to studio; to entertainment and reality. Most recently she has been Executive Producer of the Nine Network series Travel Guides. She has been Co-Executive Producer on This Time, Next Year, Gogglebox Australia and Common Sense. She was Field Director on the Bunya Productions Feature Documentary Beautiful Minds, Series Producer on the Seven Network first person travel-adventure series My France with Manu, Anh Does Everywhere and My Ireland with Colin and has a long list of Shooter Producer and Senior Producer credits in factual TV.
Mel has a particular love for post and enjoys helping emerging post producers find their writing talents and visual storytelling skills. After all, post is where the magic happens.
