Screenwriting Intensive

Explore screenwriting

This five day intensive will give you a thorough introduction to the art of screenwriting for film. Through an intensive series of lectures, screenings, written assignments and creative exercises, you will learn the fundamental principles of screenwriting by writing a short film script. Under the guidance of an award winning industry professional you will also gain valuable feedback on how to structure dramatic scenes and create memorable characters and dialogue that will ensure every second of your short film counts.

A short film is an excellent calling card for a first time filmmaker. It’s a great way to give an audience a glimpse at your ability to tell a story succinctly, and many screenwriters break into the industry by writing a short film to showcase their work.
