Screen Business Essentials: Online

This two-day intensive delivered entirely online via Zoom Video is presented in partnership with SPA (Screen Producers Australia). It covers essential information about setting up and building a screen business. The workshop covers the commercial framework in which producers must operate, including issues surrounding the operations of creative business from the ground up.

The main course convenor is Owen Johnston who has worked for Screen Producers Australia for over a decade in both policy and industrial relations. The course will feature a range of industry expert speakers, including Zoe Angus (Director – Industry & Commercial, SPA), Tony Nagle (Nagle Accounting), Rebecca Hardman (Head of Legal and Business Affairs (Australia), See Saw Films), Max Dalton (Head of Business & Legal Affairs Fulcrum), John Myers (Media Super), Jane Corden (Moneypenny), Ian Murray (CEO 113 Partners) and Cristina Pozzan (Investment Manager, Screen Australia).
